QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate, or equivalent.
- Operate, clean, and sanitize cooking, baking and ware washing equipment and all other kitchen equipment.
- Handle food stuffs according to proper sanitation regulations and follow safety standards.
- Must be able to read, write and do mathematics.
- Must possess a State Food Handler's Permit.
- Ability to communicate with the school staff so the necessary support requirements for educational programs may be provided.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proper cooking methods and techniques.
- Positive, motivating, and caring attitude for students and and work well.
- Applicant who possesses prior verifiable cooking training and/or experience and meets all of the above qualifications will be given preference.
- Use and knowledge of personal protective equipment, i.e. goggles, gloves, cut resistant gloves, and/or any other provided safety equipment.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
Benefits: Employees anticipated to work more than 630 hours per year will be eligible for Benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Standard benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Disability.
